Another Fun Day with Grandpa & Bebe!

Lucky me got to spend another action-packed, laughter-filled day with my sweet Grandpa & Bebe last week! They had lunch with Mama at work and then they surprised me at school - I woke up from my nap to see them smiling at me and waiting to take me home! What a fun way to wake up! I showed them the ropes at my new school and introduced them to all my buddies, and then we were off. That night we ate out at (you guessed it) Los Bravos with their friends Linda & Eddie and then my grandparents took over the nighttime routine with me so that Mama and Daddy could pack.

The next day, I used Grandpa for target practice by throwing balls at him from the ball pit (he started it!) and then Grandpa and Bebe took me to my favorite park for wagon rides, swinging and sliding. I had a terrific time with my grandparents and am so grateful that they love spending time with me as much as they do! I love you!

A nice, leisurely stroll with Bebe in the park:

And now for a white-knuckled, speedy ride from Grandpa!

I love laughing at the park AND most of all, my Grandparents!

Slumber Party at Grandpa & Bebe's

After napping at the apartment Saturday, we all went up to Grandpa & Bebe's house. They took Daddy out for dinner for his birthday, and then Mama and Daddy went to see the new Batman movie (too bad for me, I have to wait a few years to see it) and I went back home with my sweet Grandparents. We had so much fun! We read books, played in the tub and I even showed Grandpa the insider secrets on Kneebouncers, my fav computer game.

Oh, you are supposed to color INSIDE the lines?

A new bathtub to play in!

Grandpa, watch closely and I'll show you how to play!

The next morning, Grandpa made us all a really delicious special breakfast of eggs, toast, fruit and blueberry pancakes - he is such a good chef! They even made Daddy a special birthday pancake with whipped cream and candles - they are so good at making us feel so loved! Then Daddy opened his presents and we all played for a little longer before it was time to say "bye-bye". We had a great weekend with a lot of laughter - thank you Grandpa & Bebe! We all love you so much!

Sammy, phone's for you!

The boys love present-opening time!

Only at Bebe & Grandpa's - taking every Kleenex out of the box, wiping everyone's face with them and then giggling. I love a good mess!

Time to practice my music.

After I was through with the keyboard, Grandpa played us all the beautiful lullaby he wrote just for me for my birthday last week. I love the words and music he wrote - what a special gift this will always be to me! I am so lucky to have such a thoughtful and talented Grandpa!

Art, Singing and Dancing

Last Saturday we went to a craft party at 2 Crafty Chicks in Decatur. One of Mama's co-workers is raising money for Juvenile Diabetes, and the money from this party was going to support her. We were a little late (and if you know us, you really shouldn't be surprised) but got there just in time to play with Play-Doh, sing songs, dance and decorate a super cool, super huge pair of sunglasses. Some of my friends from school were even there, so I felt comfortable immediately.

We had a blast and then went next door to hang out in our new apartment. We haven't moved in yet, but we already have the keys, so I napped while Mama and Daddy measured, planned and panicked a little when trying to figure out how to fit 1/20th of our stuff into the new place. It will be an adventure, for sure!

Caroline's Mama warned us not to eat the Play-Doh - apparently it makes for a colorful diaper! Which made it all the more tempting for me.

Heart

Mama and Daddy are in love with the way I say "heart". See if you're as charmed as they are.

My 2nd Birthday Party!!!

I had such an amazing day today celebrating my 2nd birthday! I requested a Planes, Trains and Automobiles theme (sadly, I have not seen the movie) for my big party. My family came over to celebrate with me and we all had such a fun time together. Special kudos to my thoughtful Uncle Dan - he was unable to come this year, but his present arrived at our doorstep during the party!!

I love you all and thank you for making my day amazing and sweet!

Can you believe my Bebe MADE this awesome cake? She worked so hard on it and I just loved it! We were a little sad to cut it up and eat it, but I'm glad we did because it was delicious! Thank you Bebe!!!

My wonderful, sweet Aunt Lucy and Uncle Jeremy:

I love balloons - especially smacking Mama in the face with them!

Time for presents! I even read the cards:

My awesome Aunt Kelly bought me my very own car! And part of the fun of this present was watching Daddy and Jeremy put it together - it was entertaining for everyone. But 6 hours later (just kidding) it was ready for me to take it for a spin! Thank you for taking the time to put it together so that Kelly could see me crusin' in my kickin' new vehicle!

It looks like the men need some advice from the REAL expert - Jeremy, listen up!

Finally! It's ready! But, uh, is the door supposed to come off like this?

Giggling with my fun & funny Grandpa:

My wonderful Aunt Dayna sent me some awesome new Nikes - I will be shooting hoops before you know it! Watch out LeBron!

Warming up for my lawn care business that I will be starting in 13 years! Thank you Grandpa and Bebe - I love it and have been mowing the carpet daily ever since!

Grandpa Tommy, YOU can play with the train and I'LL play with the mower. I think I am the only one who can properly handle the raw power of this machine.

Grandpa, you are too big to get in my car!!! Here's a finger in the eye for trying.

Spying through my new blocks at my wonderful Aunt Sara:

C'mon, isn't she super cute???

Cake time!

Kelly decided I needed an EMT riding shotgun in my fire truck - and Laila is perfect for the job!

Aunt Kelly & Mama:

The cutest Spanish couple I know! Well, let's be honest - the Senas are one of the cutest couples period!

The Jamieson clan - isn't Mama a good mix of her Mama and Daddy?

Me and my Bebe:

Today was so fun that everyone got lots of kisses and hugs!

And last but definitely not least, here is a little slideshow of me enjoying my cake (props to Amy Waddell and Tony Miley for this idea! You guys are so smart. If only MY Mama knew something about technology!).

Happy Birthday to Me!

Attention world! As of 5:30am this morning, I am officially TWO YEARS OLD!!! Can you believe you've known me for 2 whole years? Lucky you.

I was awoken this morning to Mama and Daddy singing Happy Birthday to me - and I loved it! I wanted to hear it over and over and over again - it made me feel really special. Mama came up to school this afternoon and brought me and all my friends and teachers miniature cupcakes - they were a big hit! Mama forgot to eat one with us, but have no fear, she polished off the remaining ones once we got home. I made sure she'd remember to eat them by smearing icing all over her shirt and hair. And yes, she did have to go back to work like that. He he he.

Double-fisting:

After school, we met Daddy at Spaghetti Warehouse and we got to eat our dinner in a trolley car! I was in love. Our friend Leslie also brought me a birthday present (she is the sweetest!) which I got to open at dinner - it was a Mr. Potato Head! What a cool toy - I loved putting the tongue on the head, the hat on MY head, and the eyeballs in the ear holes. Thank you Leslie! You are so thoughtful!

Good thing there is no wrong way to put a Mr. Potato Head together. Why doesn't my head have fun holes in it? I am dying to wear this kickin hat.

What? Mama! This is MY spaghetti! And no, I don't know what Lady & The Tramp is - leave me alone!!!

After dinner, me and Daddy played a racecar game together. Boy was that fun! When the my car would wreck (which was often), I would look at Daddy and say "Oh no!" very dramatically. Thank goodness for people everywhere that I am 14 years away from driving.

All in all I had a wonderful birthday already, and my party isn't even until Saturday! I can't wait!
