Stone Mountain with Leslie

It was a beautiful day on Saturday, so Leslie came over went with me and Mama to Stone Mountain. Mama's memory is a little off and thought the loop around was 2-3 miles. Wrong! Try 5. I rode in my stroller for a bit, then Mama and Leslie took turns carrying me (I have to milk this "I'm a small 2-year-old" thing for as long as I can!).

We took a fun break at the playground for a while until I made it clear that I was tired and hungry - so we finished the loop around the mountain to get to the car. Mama was getting pretty pooped at this point (apparently having Cooper in her belly takes a little out of her) so Leslie carried me, or I ran. We were all exhausted by the time we got home, but as usual we loved spending the day with Leslie!

Love the tunnel!

All snuggled with Leslie:

Adventures on a Sick Day

Lucky for me, Mama works for a super boss and company who has started letting her stay home with me every Friday! Unfortunately though, I was a little under the weather for our first Mama & Me Fun Friday - but we still managed to have an excellent day together!

We decided that Mama's car was in a huge need of a bath inside and out (could it have a little something to do with my graham cracker habit?), so we went to the car wash. It was my first trip there and I just loved it! I was entranced by getting to watch all the dirty cars go through the tunnel and get sudsy and clean - and boy was our car spotless when it came out! Between that, lots of comfort food, a trip to Blockbuster to rent Toy Story and a good long nap, I was as good as new for the weekend!

Jaw-dropping:

They even sold huge chocolate chip cookies at this car wash - can we come every day?

Is anyone laughing at my hair as much as Mama does every time she sees this picture?

I'm Going to be a BIG BROTHER!

Today me, Daddy, Mama & Bebe all went to Mama's doctor appointment - we get to find out whether Mama is going to give me a baby brother or a baby sister! After the nurse examined the baby thoroughly to make sure that every organ in my new sibling's body was just perfect (we were getting a little impatient!), she finally told us that it was a BOY!

Mama and Daddy told me then that he will be named Cooper DeLong Stuckey ('DeLong' is Bebe's maiden name and I never got to meet my sweet great-grandparents, but they must have been pretty wonderful!) so I waved and said "Hi Cooper!". We were all so excited - my mind is already spinning with all of the things I can show him and all the fun and laughs we are going to share together for the rest of our lives!

The next day at school, I told every teacher, parent and warm body that came into my classroom that I was going to have a BABY BROTHER! I can't wait to meet you, Cooper! I love you with all my heart already!!!

Mama and Daddy told me that he looks just like I did when I was in Mama's tummy!

Man, he's already showing off his muscles! I sense fun wrestling matches in our future:

A Day of Dining Out

After a morning of shopping on Saturday, we were all hungry so we walked over to Figo to have some delish lunch. As you can see, I know how to enjoy some pasta. Afterwards, we walked ourselves over to Cold Stone Creamery where Mama let me choose my own cup of ice cream - after much (much!) deliberation, I finally settled on strawberry ice cream with M&M's. And it was incredible!

Hey, I don't care how I look when I'm enjoying my meal! This is just honest-to-goodness true love between me and my pasta:

Ahhh, custom-made ice cream:

Breakfast with Papa & Bebe

We decided that it had been way too many days since we had seen Papa & Bebe, so we took a special trip to the Dwarf House in Gwinnett to have breakfast with them. Can you believe I have never eaten at a Dwarf House? They even had a special door just for kids which I could not get enough of. Papa and Bebe were waiting for us when we got there - I was so excited to see them! We ate some delicious food and had lots of playtime at the table - everything is always extra fun with my sweet grandparents around!

Wait just a second - where did my hat go?

Papa looks so innocent - but you should see him just before Mama snaps a picture!

Easton Love

Easton (named in honor of a child who was treated at St. Jude) is my special bear that Bebe and Papa gave me soon after I was born, and has been a steady favorite ever since. Lately I have been asking him to join me on car rides so I can show him the moon, read books to him, give him juice and share my crackers with him. He is so soft and cuddly and is always ready for a hug. I love you, Easton!

Snoozing in Daddy's Car

I haven't fallen asleep in my carseat for a long, long time - probably since I was 1 1/2! But the other day after we went shopping at Babies R Us and then to lunch at CFA, I was just pooped. I got snuggled in my blanket, asked for my binky and then I was off to dreamland. It's been so long since this has happened that Mama just had to get a picture of it!

The "Ghost" in the Crib is....ME!

Many mornings when Mama & Daddy come to get me out of my crib, I like to hide under my blanket and pretend I'm invisible (or a ghost?) - what better way to start the day than a game first thing in the morning?

Stickers!

I have found a real love of stickers lately - I like to stick them on my arm (see below), on Mama and Daddy, on my car garage, the sofa, in Mama's hair, etc.

One afternoon when I got home from school me and Mama played for quite a while with some of my Charlie Brown Christmas stickers. I didn't see any need to take off my hat or for Mama to take off her coat before we got started! And yes, that is a PJ top I am wearing - it served as an undershirt for my day at school. Mama chopped our playtime video to 3 minutes for the sake of the viewers. If you can watch the whole thing, keep an eye out for some Molly-love at the end!

Home Depot

It was time once again for a fun kid's craft at the Home Depot. Today we got to make football helmet bookends, and since I love football (Go Falcons!) AND books so much, I was extra excited about this project!

But before we break out the hammer and nails, we had to have playtime between some hanging rugs:

Concentrating so hard, as demonstrated by my open mouth and unbreakable focus:

Let me just show Mama how it's done - two screwdrivers have to be better than one!

Yes, yes, I know they are screws, but the screwdriver thing was just going too stinking slow. I'm doing this my way now!
