Field Trip!

I don't want to do my pre-trip worksheets, as you can see by the look on my face:

Ahh, now here we go!  Lucky for me, it was just me, Daddy and my best friend Brian.  Perfect!

We look very professional with our clipboards, don't we?  Little do the bystanders know that we are up to nothing but shenanigans:

That was fun - walking around downtown Decatur and finding signs and symbols and figuring out what they all mean - with 2 of my favorite people!

Another Visit with Myron & Kyle

I've been counting the days until I could see my cousins again!  I love making them laugh and boy do I love when it's time to give Myron his bottle!

I love him:

Kyle is laid out while Mama is giving him his bottle:

Beach: Day 5

We've been itching to learn how to play Shuffleboard since we got here, so we decided that today was the day!  And yes, it was as much fun as it looked!

Although Cooper played it like it was hockey and ran the disc down to the other end each time.  No worries, we know who REALLY won the game:

 There he goes again!

Now we let Mama have a try:

And Daddy too!

Beach: Day 4

Playing Tic-Tac-Toe on our beach towel:

Loving every second of playing in the surf!

A sassy, sandy "Hi!":

Diving over our sand wall.  Why did we build a wall?

Because at about 4pm every day, this happened:

Enjoying a delicious dinner at Dolphin View:

And boy, we sat out there a long time after dinner, but did not see a dolphin.  Lots of birds, no dolphins.  Crud.

Beach: Day 3

Ahhhh, just another beautiful day playing in the sand at the beach:

Let's just get this sand out of the way - good thing no one was behind me!

And for dinner, we had a picnic at the playground, and then played until we were all worn out:

Beach: Day 2

Time for some seafood for lunch!

After lunch, we went to a manatee park and saw a bunch of manatees swimming - you can see the ripples from them in the picture!  It was so cool!

Mama attempted to get a sweet shot of us together on the beach before our crab hunt.  This is what we gave her instead:

 Going on a crab hunt:

Or maybe I'll try to catch a bird in my net:

 That didn't work at all.

 I'm a man on a mission:

Boy, am I cute or what?

Our first crab!!  We got him together - I got him with the net, and Cooper picked him up and put him in the bucket:

 What a team:

Admiring our catch before letting them go - not bad for our first night!
