Legoland!

Today me and Mama took our first trip to Legoland to go to my friend Jordan's birthday party.  It was so much fun to get to hang out with some of my friends that I haven't seen since the summer started - and now I already can't wait to go to Legoland again!

Apparently I weigh 21,000 Lego bricks.  Time to cut back on the cookies:

This was the coolest part of Legoland - they recreated a lot of famous Atlanta sites out of Legos!

The Capital, the Fox and the Aquarium:

Turner Field with the Braves in action:

And they even have the Falcons playing a game in the Dome!

Gosh, I am such a complete goober so much of the time:

While waiting in line for the wizard ride, I decided to build a few swords and guns to attack my friends with, like any good buddy would:

They even let big kids on the wizard ride!

Mmmm, we really worked up an appetite, so after wolfing down a quesadilla at Moe's, I attempted to shove an entire chocolate cupcake into my face!

I Can Feel the Winter Breeze!

This is what we say every morning when we get off the highway on the way to camp and Mama unlocks the windows so we can roll them down.  And yes, even though it's morning, it is still July and we are in Georgia and it's humid and hot...so maybe this is just wishful thinking...

Bailey

She misses us when we go off to bed, so she curls up and sleeps in my chair every night.  Could she be any sweeter?

Birthday Part III: Dinner

For my birthday dinner, I chose Los Bravos - I am on a cheese quesadilla kick lately!  Me and Mama played my new Guess Who? game while we waited for our food, and then our friends at the restaurant brought me a giant ice cream sundae which I happily shared with my favorite person in the world, my little brother.  A perfect way to end my first day of being 6!

Birthday Part II: Presents

After we packed everything up from the party and my friends went home, we came back to the house to open my presents and play with the twins!

Myron loved my Grinchy Bear, so I let him play with it the whole time they were over.  Just like any good cousin would :)

(No, Cooper doesn't have to pee.  It's just what he does lately.  We're working on it.)

Keeping Papa enraptured with my pirate guys:

Showing my new toy to Bebe & Kyle while I also try to keep Bailey from eating it:

Tongue out in concentration as I play my first game of Operation!

Pirate Party!

My birthday is finally here and I'm extra excited this year because we're having my first away-from-home birthday party at Little Shop of Stories!  And since I love everything pirate, we went all out and had us a good ol' pirate party, complete with a pirate action figures, mazes to find pirate booty, pirate gear to wear and of course plenty of sword fights!

Aaarghh!!!!!

Bebe made another delicious, amazing cake!

Pirate gear for all of my pirate friends that came:

An awesome treasure map drawn by Daddy:

Doing one of my favorite things these days - mazes!

I'm lucky to have a Bebe that is a good sport and plays along!

Attacking Cooper with my buddy William:

Listening intently to a pirate tale:

I listened from the safety of Uncle Zach's back:

And Daddy's lap:

Now time for "Pin the X on the Treasure Chest":

Quietly shoving as many gold coins as I can into my pocket:

Looking for more treasure...

Time for cake!

Me and my silly family!

4th of July

To celebrate the 4th, we started by making yummy snow cones in the back yard.  We were still too hot, so we spent the next few hours playing in the sprinkler and having crushed-ice fights.  Before we knew it, it was time to walk down the street with our family and picnic before the fireworks started.  What a great day!
