Dinosaur Birthday Party!

I have been looking forward to this for weeks and my party day is finally here!  And my birthday party was everything I had hoped it would be - dinosaurs, my favorite foods, presents and most importantly, my sweet family!  Happy 4th Birthday to Me!

Mother's Day at the Wild Animal Safari

We asked Mama what she wanted to do on her special day, and of course she wanted to go back down to the Wild Animal Safari!  So we spent the morning there feeding all of the crazy animals and laughing our heads off at their crazy mouths and huge heads coming into the van.  After we had gotten rid of all of our food, we had a big picnic - it was perfect!

Today we met a bunch of friends from my Kindergarten class at Turner Stadium to watch a Braves game.  We got to ride Marta down there, which honestly was more exciting for Cooper than the game itself!  We had a great time and can't wait to go and see another game - Go Braves!

An Afternoon with Papa & Bebe!

Today we got to spend some quality time with Papa & Bebe while Mama was at work and Daddy was still on his work trip.  It was a fun surprise to have them come and pick me up from school and then have them all to ourselves until Mama got home!

The Carseat Debacle

Daddy had to go to Vermont for work for the week and what a week it was!  We realized Monday that we needed an extra carseat to put in Papa & Bebe's car when they came to hang out with us.  Crud!  So we went to Target - no dice.  So then we headed up to Babies R Us and found one that was perfect (or so we thought).  You'll see why it wasn't so perfect at the end of the post.  Big time Mama Fail.

So...when Mama pulled out my new carseat when we got home that night, she discovered it was PINK - my LEAST FAVORITE COLOR!  Somehow we both completely missed the picture on the box.  Big time sad face.  And this is the face I made to her every morning that I had to sit my can in this awful thing.  Once Daddy got back home, we went and exchanged it for a proper boy-colored one:

It was the last day of my Spring Break, so everyone decided to play hooky with me and spend the day together.  We started off with a giant breakfast at Crescent Moon and then we headed to the Zoo for the afternoon.  If only we could have days like today every week!

A Visit with Uncle Dan and Laura

We got a treat this weekend with some of our favorite house guests - Uncle Dan and Laura!  We caught up on some much-missed playtime and we got some snuggles in too - when Sunday came around we were not ready for them to go!  We love you both very much!
