Birthday Party Day!

Happy Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle birthday party day to me!!!!

One of the best things about my party day is that we got to meet Angel and Nadira - the awesome kids that Uncle Jeremy & Aunt Lucy's are adopting!  We have to wait until they are "officially" adopted from foster care before we can show their face in pictures online, but they were there and we loved them instantly!!

After everyone else left the party, we went in the backyard and played.  I instantly took to Nadira and we walked around the yard and chatted:

Then we broke out the chalk so we could draw on the fence:

And my awesome big brother drew a heart with an 'A' in the middle - we already love Angel & Nadira so much and are excited to have them as a part of our family!!!

After some snacks and a slideshow, it was time to go eat with Papa & Bebe - YAY!!!  And just take a look at what is happening behind me...

Happy Mother's Day!

We decided to make Mama a "surprise party" for Mother's Day by drawing a bunch of pictures and hanging them around her room and by her bed - and it worked because she was surprised and she loved it!

Then we took a trip up to Chestatee Wildlife Preserve to spend the afternoon with some animals we hadn't met yet - and it was awesome!  We started by talking to these guys for a while:

And then visited some turkeys and emus - look at my face when I spotted one hustling over to us!

These guys were probably our favorites - we picked tons of grass and let them eat from our hands and they walked beside us all up and down this fence:

We loved these parrots too - they were so talkative and we had some interesting conversations with them!

Science Fair at the JCCC

Today the Kindergarten Prep class got to host a Science Fair for our school to demonstrate some of the experiments we've been doing in class - so much fun!

Connecting all of these batteries to make the light come on - my favorite by far!

As we walked out, Miss Danielle wanted quotes she could write on the board about what we liked or learned - I wanted to write my own answer and didn't want any help spelling - apparently I like watching things float!

Sometimes at night before prayers I ask Mama to sing the ABC song...and tonight instead of just quietly singing along with her, this happened.  Enjoy :)
