Christmas!

Loving every second of this!

My very own barn with animals - thank you Santa!

Oh man, Nemo slides for my ViewMaster!

Checking out the rest of our stocking loot:

Is this one for me?

A Batman monster truck! Santa really outdid himself this year!

There's a moving deer in my book:

I don't know what to play with first - my guitar, my basketball or my toes:

Everyone wants a piece of my new Woody doll!

Still fascinated with my new barn animals:

Cooper, check it out - he can even talk!

We each got doodle pads to create masterpieces on:

Merry Christmas, Miss Molly:

A book about real space ships!

Now, for Mama and Daddy to try to capture the impossible - a shot with both of us looking and smiling. Not gonna happen, not even on Christmas. The first one was actually the closest they got, but dang, Cooper has that binky in his mouth!

"Open this Reese tree for me. Now."

"Or, if you prefer, I'll dance for some M&M's."

Loving on Mama:

Jammin Molly right to sleep:

After soaking up our toys for a while, we headed over to Grandmama's for the evening. And can you believe it SNOWED? I could not stop playing in it.

Pondering throwing a snowball at Grandpa Tommy:

Catching snowflakes on our tongues. I'm in heaven.

Now to make another snowball:

Snowball fight! I won.

And Bebe even helped me make some snowballs!

Christmas Eve Baking

It's Christmas Eve and time to make homeade Christmas cookies and birthday cupcakes for Jesus. One of our many favorite things about Christmas! And I feel a sugar high coming on.

Grandmama's showing me how to use cookie cutters:

Then I made one of best choices of my young life and licked my dough-smothered finger. Instant addiction (just like Mama!):

Grandmama must think I taste pretty sweet too:

Sprinkles. The very best part.

And yep, still eating dough...

This year I have turned into a rolling pro:

This cookie might just actually make it to the cookie sheet instead of my tummy:

This is fun! But requires lots of concentration:

Getting a few tips from Uncle Dan:

Now to get started on birthday cupcakes for Jesus:

Cooper wanted to dive into the bowl, but thankfully Mama held him back:

This is what a Christmas Eve kitchen looks like. Happy chaos.

Baking is a messy business:

Delicious!

Gingerbread House

It was time again to construct our annual gingerbread project, and this year we decided to build a little house instead of a choo choo train like last year.

We thought it would be easier, but boy were we wrong (we are still in the Amateur Phase with our gingerbread creations). The roof kept sliding off and Mama had to hold it in place while the icing dried. I told her she may have to skip going to bed and just hold it on the whole night. She thought I was joking, but I wasn't.

While she was on roof-duty, I busied myself with everything else. I especially loved the colored candies, as you can see below. I really did all of the decorating by myself! I was VERY proud of our happy little house!

Oh this is going to be messy. Which means perfect.

Mama, you hang on to the roof, and I'll get to work on everything else. And as you can see, Cooper is distressed about the roof too:

Icing the Christmas tree. Have you noticed what I am wearing yet, by the way?

Time to decorate. I should note here that right after this picture was taken, we looked up and saw that the roof was indeed sliding off our shaky little house. Again.

I mean, how much more awesome could this possibly be?
