Birthday Cupcakes for Jesus

We've got everything together and ready to bake!

Maybe you can't tell in the pic, but there's not even a tiny piece of shell in that bowl!

Helping Mama pour the melted butter:

And finally I get to hold the mixer!

I am not quite big enough to deal with the mixer, but I found a way to contribute - by finding the biggest, heaviest flashlight we own and shining it into the bowl for big brother:

It's tricky getting the batter into these little cups:

Mama helped a little while we busied ourselves licking our fingers and spoons clean:

Cuties in aprons:

They're finally out and now to load them up with piles of icing!

Christmas with Uncle George & Aunt Marilyn

Today we all met up with Uncle George & Aunt Marilyn and Papa & Bebe at Crossroads Grill to celebrate our Christmas a few days early.  Good food, great company and presents - obviously we had a great time!

Uncle George & Aunt Marilyn got us vet kits for Christmas, so we got to work immediately:

Taking gentle care of my patients:

Teaching them the basics of animal care:

Now to enjoy some chocolate peanut butter pie!

Visiting Santa

It was time to see our old buddy Santa again and we were super pumped, of course.  Uncle Zach & Aunt Kira even joined us, which made it even more fun!

"I'd like a yellow puppy dog and jelly beans please Santa!"

"And I'd like a black puppy and a sticker book please!"

Santa gave us some pre-Christmas gifts - that's pretty awesome!

Afterwards, Zach couldn't help but get an Icee, which we had never had before.  I loved mine and almost drank the whole thing, but Harrison gave his to Daddy:

Caroling at Mama's Office

Today me and my Pre-K friends sang Christmas carols at Mama's work and we sounded GREAT if I do say so myself :)   Afterwards I spent some extra time with Mama & Daddy over breakfast - a pretty awesome way to spend a Friday!

Annual Christmas Tree Hunt

Yes, we have to take this picture, Cooper - just smile and get it over with!

After much debate and searching, we found "the one"!

Now I'm getting big enough to help haul this thing to the car.  And Cooper just ran around like a maniac like he always does:

Jumping down the haystacks:

Not sure why I couldn't take my eyes off of Mama and Cooper, but this is what we got for a family picture:

Now for the money part - decorating!

I was in charge of the low branches, which meant that half of the decorations ended up on a few branches that were struggling to stay up by the time I was done.  But the bottom half of the tree was very festive and I was quite proud of myself!

And this is what me and Cooper did first thing the next morning - we brought down our most ferocious stuffed animals to protect baby Jesus in the Nativity scene:

A Morning at the Children's Museum

We always start at the front with all of the crazy stuff you can do with the balls:

Then we put on smocks and go fishing in the water:

Practicing unloading a truck of boxes - loved the rolling rods!

Oh and a quick watering of the garden:

Giant blocks - how tall can of a tower can I build?  This is going much faster than when I try this at home with my tiny Legos!

Who am I kidding?  The knocking it over is the best part:

Quality time with Daddy:

And of course let me go grocery shopping - I LOVE FOOD:

Choo choo!

They have this crazy sand that's not really sand - it's softer and gooier and all around awesome:

Playing some word search games on this giant screen:

And teaching Mama:

This looks like just a cute picture of us playing, but take a closer look at whose hand is going where:

I see you!

Peek a boo!

Joyful as always going down the slide:

They also had these stations set up where you could learn how cashiers count back change to customers - so I was here for quite a while:

And we took some of our very own Stuckey Boy money home:

Bundled up and ready to head home!

Most of the time I can't contain how much I love my big brother:
