Father's Day with Papa: Part II

After spending the morning playing at Stars & Strikes and eating a delicious lunch at Mimi's, we headed over to the Mall of Georgia to play in the water fountains. Always so much fun and it was the perfect way to cool off on this steamy day!

Cooper is trying to fill up his little bucket, but was a little timid about running straight into the water at first:

This is pretty much awesome:

0.4 seconds before getting drenched by Mama:

Payback's a bummer, Mama:

Pure joy:

Okay, now it's time to get Bebe. I asked for Mama's help to carry out my attack:

But really, I am way too sweet to go for anything but her feet. What a sweetheart I am!

Forget that, Cooper! No mercy!

Aaaaaand again:

And all together now!

Bebe even tried to use Mama as a shield, but it didn't work:

One more good soaking for Mama:

Lucky for us, Daddy went and got an ice cream cone. We convinced him to share:

Father's Day Celebration at School

We had such a great time celebrating our wonderful Daddy at school today - he came and did a sack race with some other Dads while we cheered our hearts out on the sidelines. After that, we all came inside for yummy hamburgers. He even got a trophy, which I am completely in awe of and have insisted that it remain on display at home where I can check on it and show it to anyone who comes over.

Daddy's a great sport and boy, are we crazy about him! We love you so much, Daddy!!!

Delicious hamburger filling my little chipmunk cheeks!

Pillow Fight!

Grandpa Tommy sometimes surprises us on Sunday mornings, and he always seems to catch us at our best. This morning, we just happened to have stripped off our clothes and were running around in our skivvies. He never seems to come over when we are in our 3-piece suits and sitting quietly and reading. Oh well.

And honestly, he is the one that started this pillow fight. He likes to wreak havoc and then leave when he's got everything in an extreme state of chaos. One of the million reasons we love him.

Please click on this picture and check out the look of determination on Cooper's face as he winds up:

Proud of the mighty blow I just landed on Grandpa Tommy!

Two minutes before he walked out the door....this is how we try to convince him to stay just a little bit longer. Sadly, it didn't work:

Mommy & Me Day at the Zoo

And what's a perfect way to start a date with Mama? Take her to Waffle House, of course! After we stuffed ourselves, we headed to the Zoo for a special tour for Mamas and their little ones.

We got to see the elephant get breakfast and then get exercised, and say hello to some of my other favorite animals. Once it started getting too hot outside, we headed inside to a special classroom where we sung songs, played with toys, did some art and even got to pet some animals. Most of all though, me and Mama got to spend a lot of quality time together, and we both loved every second of it!

Time to cut up this waffle so I can get it in my belly:

I also love to eat the butter. By itself.

Mama, put the camera down and eat your breakfast!

Checking out this meerkat getting some morning sun on his belly:

"Whatchoo looking at, buster?"

Maybe if I stick my belly out far enough, they'll come and nibble on it:

And here, you'll see, we have a sleeping lion. And apparently he's not interested in entertaining us this morning:

Sitting in Mama's lap in the classroom:

Doing some art to make a little tambourine:

I just want to make sure my owl doesn't come un-glued:

We also got to get up close and personal with a tiny hedgehog, but we couldn't pet it on account of its prickles:

So, yeah, she asked us to stay on our mats, but this looks like something I need to pet immediately!

I asked her to come around again with this fluffy rabbit and she did. And it was worth it.

And for an extra-special treat, I got to pick out a little panda bear to take home:

Fun With Papa & Bebe

It was high time for some more quality time with Papa & Bebe, and we got to do some of our most favorite things with some of our most favorite people! We love spending time with them so much, and I'm pretty sure they love spending time with us too!

Dancing/hopping at Monkey Joes:

Papa really thinks I'm hysterical. And I have no idea what my big brother's face means:

Smashing a poor crab:

Dinner at the fancy new Chick-fil-A:

Have we mentioned that we are obsessed with water gun fights? Time to introduce Papa to the mayhem. Right after I nail Cooper in the back of the neck:

Molly is desperate to jump off the porch at this point:

Now for a train ride - can you spot us?

Having a little snack. And we promise Papa was having more fun than this picture shows, although Cooper seems concerned:

Brothers

Here is a snapshot of a typical weekend day at the Stuckey-boy home. Underwear (clean) on head, still in PJs mid-afternoon, snacking on peanut butter, maybe reading a couple of books side-by-side and laughing with each other pretty much all day long!

Pre-K Graduation!

Tiny cap and gown? Check. Graduation song memorized? Check. Crying Mama? Check. Happy smile and front-row position? Check!

That's right, I graduated Pre-K everybody! I think Mama & Daddy are in denial, but the fact is that I'm almost 5 and growing up quick!

So proud of myself after my stellar performance and clutching my little diploma!

I'm pretty sure Papa & Bebe are proud of me too!

My very first teacher, Miss Gloria, came to see me today too:

A smooch from Bebe while enjoying my chocolate:

Pretty much everyone wants to kiss these cheeks:

Oh, Ice Cream, How I Love You!
