The Wonderful Aquarium

Today was rainy and yuck outside, which made for a perfect day to visit the Aquarium. This was the first time we have gone when Cooper could explore a little, and I think he pretty much loved it. A great way to spend our Sunday morning, visiting all of our fish friends!

Seriously, I know he's my little brother and I'm not really supposed to say things like this, but dang, how cute is this kid?

I spent most of the day on Daddy's shoulders - the best way for a 3-footer to see the fish!

Hey! Fishies! I'm down here! See? Fishies! Look at me! Doesn't it look like I am inside the tank with you? I really wish I was, actually. And they just look sort of annoyed. They're like, hey kid go bang on the jellyfish window and leave us alone.

Playtime at the Doctor's Office

Last night I had my first case of croup, which my big brother never had, and scared my poor parents half to death. So today Mama took me to the doctor to get some medicine. You would have never known I was up half the night coughing and perfecting my seal bark - I had a ball in the doctor's office. Me and Mama played with my toys and then I discovered the huge windows and was mesmerized the rest of the time. I didn't even cry when they gave me the medicine! I am one happy camper these days!

Tonight was a momentous night - Mommy and Daddy decided that Cooper was finally big enough for us to take our baths together! I was a little hesitant at first, I mean bathtime is a precious thing!, but once we got in and I realized that now I had a playmate, I was sold. We had a great time laughing and splashing together, although Coopy got a little overwhelmed after a while and needed to get on out. But that was okay too, because I got to swim and have the whole tub to myself for the last bit of my bath! Life is good.

Getting a kiss from Snakey. Later I showed him how to feed Snakey - he eats bubbles and gets very irritable if we don't feed him every night!

Cooper got into it and started splashing me back! Oh, I like this kid the more I get to know him!

Baby Christian

Tonight Baby Christian came over for dinner with his sweet parents so that we could finally meet him and teach him a thing or two about being a little boy! We had a great time with the whole family and just love little Baby Christian to pieces - he is now my very littlest buddy. Can't wait to see you again soon!

My First Day at the Park

Okay, so I've been to the park before, but I was always strapped to Mama and hadn't figured out how to get around on my own yet - so today was pretty special. I got to crawl around, watch Harrison run around and flirt with every girl there, swing, eat some grass, and go down the slide. I already can't wait to go back!

Checking everything out:

I am up pretty high, and without anyone holding me...I like it! And are those my feet?

Where is everybody?

Oh wow, and this thing swings? A swing swings. I get it!

Oh I like it! No, I LOVE it!

And there's my big brother, taking a pretty girl on a spin on the fire truck. He sure does have a way with the ladies. I think they must find mittens, the outer space PJ top and green socks combo charming. I'll have to remember this...

He even let her drive. He's a smooth one!

Now for my first trip down the slide:

Mmmm, this Mystery Mix of grass, twigs and small bugs looks yummy. It should probably definitely go in my mouth.

I'm even old enough to ride on Daddy's shoulders! I have officially arrived.

Cutie in the Tub

I have enough hair for a mohawk now!

It looks like I am about to do something that I should only do in my diaper. But I didn't. Promise.

Vacation at Papa & Bebe's

Mama and Daddy went to Washington, D.C. with Mama's work for a few days, so that meant that me and Cooper got to camp out at Papa & Bebe's while they were gone. We had a blast and made sure to keep Bebe on her toes - especially Cooper the Monkey. He is getting into everything all the time and is getting quick on all fours - it won't be long until we are running around and playing ball together!

We shared lots of fun days filled with games, meals, visitors, art and lots of laughs. Thank you for taking such sweet care of us and treating us like little Princes! We love you!

Cooper's like "What up?":

We realized that there were no crayons at Papa & Bebe's house, so we took a trip down to Wal-Mart to remedy that!

Cooper takes a 2.4 second pause for a couple of quick pictures:

Some of Papa & Bebe's friends came over to meet Cooper - here is Miss Vanessa with Cooper. Who knows what that face is for? What a character:

Mr. Scott said he needed a doctor, and luckily there was one in the house. I got out my Doctor Kit and got right to work:

I am getting tall!

And after 4 days with no accidents, I got a Spiderman Pop-Up as a prize! And it was too much fun helping Papa blow it up:

After about 47 rounds of Memory Game, Papa needed a change. So, he came up with a special game just for us and I loved it!

Have I mentioned how much I love my brother and how much I love making him laugh? It might be the best sound in the world.

The Circus!

Today me, Daddy and Mama played hooky and headed downtown for a treat - the Circus! I couldn't wait to see the tigers, elephants and clowns and to finally get to see what the Circus was all about. We even got to go down and meet some of the clowns before the show started - and one of them even gave me a tattoo!

The show was amazing - definitely not like anything my little eyes had ever seen before. We had a great time, but we did leave a little early because near the end of it I was getting punchy/overloaded/goofy and really, once I saw the tigers, I was done (I let them know by not-so-quietly saying "Mama, I am ready to get OUTTA HERE."). But what a great way to spend a Monday - I love you Mama & Daddy!

On the Move

Life just got a little more interesting and fun!

It started like this:

And less that 2 weeks later (and with some encouragement from me)...

Snow in Decatur!

So, one minute I'm at school playing with my friends, the next we are all running to the windows to watch the snow fall! I could hardly believe it - and it snowed so much that they even closed my school so that we could go home and play in it!

And that's just what we did. I talked about it the whole way home, and as soon as we got there we got bundled up and headed out for a walk. Cooper enjoyed it until the snow was falling right in his face, then he just wanted to go home. So we went back to the house and started on our snowman, complete with coal eyes and a carrot nose!

C: Does it have to land right in my eyeball?

Alright, let's put our best side to the camera while we start the snowman:

La-dee-dah, I'll just let Daddy do the actual work of building the snowman while I catch some snowflakes:

Now, let me supervise the finishing touches:

I think "we" did a pretty super job!

Molly & Hudson loved it too!

Bathtime with Mama

Bathtime is something that is near and dear to my little heart - I get undivided attention from my bath-giver, I get to be naked (my favorite!), I get to splash to my heart's content and come out smelling delicious! I know this because Mama is constantly eating my neck/cheeks/toes/belly after I'm out, so I must taste amazing! Plus, dang!, do I look cute fresh out of the water!
