Fun-Filled Christmas Day

What a day! It was time for our trip to the Christmas Tree Farm to find the perfect Christmas tree for our house. I decided that Spiderman was the man for the job, so I put my costume on for the 118th time since Halloween, and off we went.

Once we got it in the house and put some lights and ornaments on it, we took Grandmama to Stone Mountain for a train ride around the mountain. It was SO cold, but we brought blankets and snuggled up together. And it was just right.

Spiderman and his trusty sidekick are loaded up and ready to go on a tree-hunt!

Blowing past the baby trees in search of The Perfect Tree:

We found it! Now to supervise Daddy while he chops it down:

Riding in a sleigh with Santa:

The fam:

Let's get this sucker in the house:

Taking lighting lessons from Daddy:

Dang it stinks when one light in the strand is out.

After we put 2 sheets of stickers all over Grandmama, it was time to get down to business and decorate:

Ornaments look so delicious, I think I'll have a taste:

This pic only made the blog to show off my curls:

Enough work already, let's take 5 and read a book:

Since Grandmama can't see the stickers that are covering her head, I thought I'd describe them to her:

While those slackers are reading books and playing with stickers, I am focused on getting ornaments on the tree:

Taking our chilly walk to the train at Stone Mountain:

Wouldja look at all those lights!

Instantly in love with the train ride and the lights outside:

I. Am. So. Happy.

Snuggled up with my Daddy:

Am I cute or what?

Now it was Mama's turn to have me in her lap (plus, she had the best view):

Visiting Santa

It was my turn to ask for something, but all I wanted to do was study on his hairy face. I really like him:

Now it's my turn. I asked for a monster truck and some books (both of which I have a ton of already. Oh well, you can't have too much of a good thing, right?):

Decorating Grandmama's Tree

Tonight we headed over to Grandmama's house to decorate her tree and help make it the best Christmas tree yet! We also found time to play, stuff our faces with cookies and run around like the little monkeys we are. We had a wonderful time, and Grandmama loved her tree!

Teaching Grandmama where her nose is:

Adding some ornaments to this delicious-smelling tree:

Me and my huge cheeks want to help too:

Isn't Aunt Kira pretty?

Grandmama is getting in on the action:

Taking trumpet lessons from Grandmama. But not Cooper. I think he's trying to eat it.

Uncle Zach is so big that he can toss me around like a rag doll, and I love every second of it:

Books with Grandmama

One of our most favorite things to do when Grandmama comes over is to bring her a stack of books, plop down in her lap, and listen to her read us stories. Perfect.

My Stirling

If you're ever looking for me and can't find me, just look for Stirling. I am usually wherever she is. I love her in a fierce way.

Thanksgiving Lunch at School

Today we had a Thanksgiving lunch up at my school and Mama and Daddy came to join us. It was delicious and so much fun to have lunch with my family and all my friends!

I'm such a big boy, drinking out of a cup and everything!

...even if I am a little messy about it:

Happy Thanksgiving!

The Rock Ranch

Today we bundled up and headed down to The Rock Ranch. It was chilly, but there was so much to do that we hardly noticed! They had everything two little boys could possibly want to do and see there - bouncy houses, an underground slide, go-karts, pony rides, train rides, and today there were even monster trucks!

Having a blast in the bouncy house:

The boys:

Taking my sack up the hill so I can go down the underground slide. It was easily the coolest slide I've ever been on:

Telling Mama & Daddy to "Pedal FASTER!!" on the karts around the track:

I always love the pony rides:

And I am finally old enough to hop on too!

Waiting in line to ride the train around the Ranch:

Taking a little ride through the corn maze:

I could hardly believe my eyes when this crazy truck started up!

And then, can you believe it?, me and Mama got to ride in a monster truck! The driver was crazy too and I just laughed my head off the whole time. When it was over I wanted to ride again!

All tuckered out:

Not me! I got an ice cream sandwich to eat.
