Tanglewood Farm

We have been hearing about the miniature animals at Tanglewood Farm for weeks, and finally the day came when we got to visit them. We picked a hot day to go, but we got most of our visits in with the animals before it got too unbearable. It was so fun to be able to feed and pet these tiny little animals, and hug on some of the bigger ones. We'll be back for sure!

I know it's tempting to make a crack about being future outlaws, but c'mon, look at these cute little faces! Not a chance.

Look at this cute little sheep - it looks like she wants a kiss:

And a huge sheep:

Then we discovered these adorable little goats:

Wait, come back here!

This is what happens when you hang out with the baby goats, and it is awesome:

We wanted to take one home. Seriously.

Moo!

We couldn't get over how calm these cows were - guess they knew we had food for them, and that they wouldn't even have to get up to eat!

Um, could you put down the camera and help me out here?

A huge, lazy bunny:

And a little baby pony:

Donkeyland:

We're having a moment:

Now this is something I've never seen, and it's a shame he wasn't interested in being petted:

Having a nice cool drink in the shade:

Future cowboy:

Enjoying an apple on the way home. I'm such a big boy that I even eat the peel!

Greene's

It was a perfect day for walking to downtown Decatur, so we walked ourselves right up to Greene's candy store. Not only do they have candy and ice cream, but they have toys too! We already can't wait to go back - and maybe next time, we'll get to pick out a toy...

Mama, after we finish our ice cream, we must go check out the airplanes, k?

A smooch for you!

I'm really starting to get into the ice cream at this point. Shirt's askew, ice cream drips down my shirt, chocolate covering my face, hands appropriately sticky. And I am happy.

I may eat the spoon too.

Learning to spin tops with Daddy:

Got it down to an art, while Cooper is on to something else.

Time for more ice cream!

As happy as happy can be:

Afternoon With Grandmama

This afternoon Grandmama came over to play and have dinner with us. She wanted to get outside and enjoy the beautiful day, so we played ball in the front yard, and then went to the back to do some art on our fence. I also gave Grandmama her first official Archery lesson. In my expert opinion, she did great for her first time, but she will need some more guidance from a seasoned expert like myself before she can really hit her targets. She's always such a great sport though - one of the many things we love about her! We had a great night together - we love our Grandmama so much!

Love:

Playing ball on our newly seeded lawn and probably killing all the baby grass that is sprouting, but playing is much more important!

Giving Grandmama free, personal instruction on how to do this. Let's see how she does.

My face says it all. Oh, Grandmama.

Let's try it again, and really focus this time, okay?

Now for some art!

Happy St. Patty's Day!

Today we had our annual St. Patty's Day Parade at school, and it was a gorgeous day for it! We decorated shirts and marched around the parking lot blowing bubbles and waving streamers. It was chaos as usual, and we loved every minute of it!

Me and my buddies:

And here I come! I am frantically trying to break free from Miss Sandra's hand to get to Mama & Daddy, but Miss Sandra was having none of that nonsense!

Being my usual wonderful, goofy self:

Me and my Mama:

And, from this moment on out, we downright refused to be even a tiny bit cooperative for pictures. It gets better...

Told you. But this is also kind of perfect.

Later! I got places to be!

Our Sweet Cooper

The Great Underwear Run

So this has become a nightly ritual. Cooper goes into my drawer and very carefully selects a pair of my underwear and gleefully comes tearing out of our room with them snugly on his head. I join in moments later, of course, and we run loops around the house with my whitey tighties on our heads. On our way up to High Society, no doubt!

Field Trip to the Airport

Today we went on a field trip to the DeKalb Peachtree Airport - and Daddy surprised me by meeting us there too! It was super chilly out there, but man it was cool to be able to walk inside the hangar where all the airplanes were. I even got to climb up in one! We also stood in the hangar and waved to all the planes as they took off. So much fun!

Happiness is holding Daddy's hand:

Ready to check out some planes!

Um, this is awesome.

My friends and wonderful teachers - we are all pretending to be planes:

It was bright so Daddy let me wear his sunglasses:

Have a safe flight!

Jammin'

Please notice that I am also in my camo hoodie for added Redneck effect.

Aquarium with Grandmama

Today we got to take Grandmama with us to the Aquarium, since she's never been. It was extra awesome because I got to snuggle in her lap the entire time. We "ooh'ed" and "aahh'd" over all the fish and had such a happy morning. We love you so much Grandmama!

Fascination with Lights

We were so excited to have Mama & Daddy back that we decided to go on a date to Raging Burrito and sit on their awesome patio. We were mesmerized by the outside lights through most of dinner, so after we were done, Mama took us for a closer look. My face says it all.
