Great Wolf - Day 2

I am a sucker for mascots:

A view of one of the water playgrounds:

Hanging with Daddy in the giant wave pool:

And I loved these water guns in the kids area:

Fascinated by the build-your-own-stuffed-animal process:

I sort of love my new dragon:

Our new buddies in our new little bags:

Playing a little game of mini bowling:

Thumbs up on the gutter ball, big brother:

One more headed for the gutter:

Goofy in the pool:

A little basketball:

And a load of sugar amazingness right before bed!

Vacation at Great Wolf Lodge!

We've been counting down the days until it was finally time to make the drive to North Carolina to go stay at the Great Wolf Lodge and now it's finally here!  We've been hearing stories of water slides, water guns, giant pools and a game called MagiQuest and we're finally on our way!  Yahoo!

A little brotherly love on the car ride there:

This is the first and only time we got to watch the TV in our little cabin area so we ate it up while Mama & Daddy unpacked:

Taking a ride on the moving cart:

And now time for MagiQuest:

Mama's trying to help us decide where the next treasure might be:

Got some crystals:

Aha!  Treasure!

Woodlands Gardens

This morning we decided to go on an adventure to a little park near our house since Mama and Daddy had never been there.  We were the only ones there for most of the time, so we had free reign to stage battles, explore, and stop to talk about all the cool flowers and leaves we saw!

Gritting my teeth behind that "smile" because I want to get going!

Once we found some walking sticks, we were off:

We walked across a tree:

....and things were going fine...

....until this - but we recovered and made it to the end.  Did I pull Mama down or is she just that bad at balancing?  Maybe both:

We found a wee bench to rest on after climbing a steep trail:

Looking ahead to the next adventure:

Walking across another fallen tree in a ravine:

This is how I spent most of the time - joyfully running from place to place:

A Letter to My Brother

Soccer at the Park

I think we were being pirates at the moment?

Mama THINKS she can get this ball from me:

I also randomly picked up sticks and used them as weapons while playing - so it was a battle/soccer game:

My cuteness distracted Mama too much to properly defend me:

St. Patty's Day Parade

Well, this is the last time a Stuckey boy will participate in a St. Patrick's Day parade at the JCCC (sniff, sniff).  Luckily this last one was a ton of fun and our teachers dressed us up as football players which I loved!

So excited for the parade that we can't stand it!  The room was quite noisy at this point!

Marching in our parade - and look at Mr. D with his green wig!

This is where big brother posted up during the parade - I think he wanted to stand by himself so I'd be sure and see him :)  He tooted his horn the whole time and cheered us on!  Love him!!!

Happy Birthday Myron & Kyle!

Today we got to celebrate our adorable cousins' 2nd birthday, complete with cookie cake, ice cream, presents and running around outside on a beautiful day!

Kyle looks a little worried about this whole cake business, while Myron has my stuffed puppy so he can enjoy the festivities up close and personal too!

Kyle's longer worried - now he just wants the first bite of icing!

Myron's like "what's he so worried about?  I've got a puppy so life is pretty good!  The icing can wait a minute!"

Everyone's happy now - it's impossible to be upset while digging into cookie cake!

We might be making more of a mess than the 2-year-olds!

We came up with a game where Aunt Kelly pushes Kyle and I throw a giant ball at his feet and he kicks it while he's swinging towards us, and then I make Cooper go "fetch" :)

But....he got distracted from his fetching duties and decided to ride around on a bike instead:

And then Myron wanted someone to push him in the swing, and I happily obliged - it's fun feeling like the "big kid" sometimes!
