Christmas Prep

Now that we have our Christmas tree, we got the decorations out and that is always one of our favorite things to do!  I mean, do you see this awesome Christmas tree hat?  It even lights up!

I love getting the Nativity scene carefully set up:

And all the while, Bella did a lot of this:

Time to Cut Down our Christmas Tree!

Santa we're here!

Scanning the treeline for The One:

And here it is!

Discussing the best technique to cut it down:

While Harrison is doing actual work, I am poking him in the bottom.  I just couldn't resist:

Still working...and Cooper is nowhere to be found:

Oh there he is:

I ran myself right over to the bunnies to feed them:

And I jumped off the top of this haystack about 23 times:

And then I talked Mama into jumping down too:

It's harder for a bigger person, but she did okay.  And it was funny:

Let's get our tree home!

Happy Thanksgiving!

Mommy's little kitchen helper - helping make the cornbread dressing for Thanksgiving:

Showing Papa how to make little Oreo turkeys for everyone:

Helping Bebe with hers because my hands are so tiny that it's easier for me to put the eyes on!

The finished product - aren't they cute?

Teaching Coop about warriors:

Oh the frustration Mama felt when trying to get a good picture of us - we were just too punchy for this:

I look a little crazed, but let's be honest - that is the norm most of the time:

Our Sweet Animals

Man these two - we got them on the same weekend when they were both babies, and they have always been close.  Sometimes they sleep together and sometimes Stirling will come up and decide Molly needs a little cleaning/kissing and Molly just loves it - look at that face:

Living Room Tower

While Mama and Daddy were making dinner, we were making this mountain out of just about every cushion we could find downstairs...clearly we were quite proud of ourselves:

Ah, Saturdays

We started the day with a soccer game:

And tried to make it to the Decatur Cemetery to help my Boy Scout troop put flags at all the veteran's graves, but we just missed them because of my soccer game.  I was pretty upset, so we walked around for a while and talked about the veterans that were buried here:

After a yummy lunch at the Imperial, we headed to Coan Park to play:

And to find our first geocache!  We each picked out a small treasure from the box, left 2 to replace the ones we took and I signed the journal and put it back where we found it.  Pretty cool!

This is How Much I Love Bailey

No, we're not in trouble - I just wanted to be close to her for a few minutes before I let her out of her crate:
