Happy Easter!

We had two changes to our "normal" Easter celebration this year, which both turned out to be super fun!  Bebe and Papa spent the night on Saturday since Bebe's foot is still healing from her surgery, and it was very rainy and muddy outside, so the Easter bunny hid our eggs inside instead of outside.  He got pretty creative - we have since discovered several randomly throughout the house!  Tricky bunny.
Happy Easter!

Woke up to find our Easter pails full of our favorite candies and some fun toys too!

How did the Easter bunny know that my favorite color is purple???

Even a CHEWBACCA?

Now for the hunt - Mama had to help me get some of the eggs that were up too high for my little self to reach:

Somehow the bunny knew that Papa & Bebe would be at our house, so he dropped off the stuff that would have been at their house in our little den!

It didn't take long for this to happen:

Or this:

Papa brought over Bebe's new Nook and showed us some fun games on it:

Molly found a cozy spot next to one of her favorite people:

And look what Cooper did with his new chalk when no one was looking!  We were all pretty impressed!

Time for barefoot Easter egg dying:

A full family shot proved too challenging for today, but we did the best we could :)

Now back to dying Easter eggs!

Voila!

Soccer!

After years of talking about it, we finally decided to give soccer another try.  And I was hesitant at first, but it turns out that me and soccer go together like Han Solo and Chewbacca....unlike my first soccer team experience.  And yes, I picked out those awesome cleats myself - go Warriors!

Ready for action:

Warming up with my team:

Right in the middle of all the action!

And this is my signature move - "victory fingers" pretty much every time I kick the ball.  It was a crowd favorite for sure!

A Chilly Easter Egg Hunt at School

It was VERY chilly today, but that didn't stop us for having our class Easter Egg Hunt on the playground!  My absent-minded Mama forgot my basket, so we improvised and took Darth Vader out for the hunt!

Ready to head out with Darth:

I was such a gentleman on the playground - I let Emerson get the egg that I found and moved on to another one :)

Checking things out while a random bubble floats by:

Showing off my loot and being asked to smile and - MAMA, too bright!!

 Ah, that's better:

Now to enjoy some of my treats!
