Leapin Lizards with Aunt Kelly

Today our wonderful Aunt Kelly came over, and we decided it was a perfect day to show her around Leapin Lizards. And we think she loved it almost as much as we did! We promise to take you back again soon, Aunt Kelly! We love you so much!

I take a little while to warm up to the bouncy stuff, but lucky for me there is an awesome play area:

Bouncing with Mama in the bouncy house - I couldn't stop laughing!

Now for our slide:

We spent a lot of time at the giant chalkboard - playing tic-tac-toe, drawing pictures and practicing our letters. Have we mentioned that we love this place?

Lessons from Big Brother

Now that he's 2, I figured it was high time for him to learn how to put his own sandals on. I forgot the part about getting your shorts on first. Ah, let's leap one hurdle at a time.

Ta-daaaa! It's as easy as that, Coop!

Pondering over the lesson while I cuddle my animals.

Ah, forget it. Let's just roll on the floor instead!

The Morning After

Sometimes I think that the morning after a birthday party is every bit as fun as the day of. Me and big brother get to sit around in our PJs all day and play with all the new toys our wonderful friends and family gave us (well, gave me. but being the youngest, I had to learn the Sharing Game pretty early if there was ever going to be any peace in our little house) and kick around all the balloons that deflated overnight. A little boy can't ask for much more than this kind of weekend!

Please, no judgements about the binky hanging out of my mouth. They will be gone, soon enough. And usually I only get them when I'm in my crib. But I'm milking my Birthday weekend for all it's worth!

One of my favorite games to play with Mama - steal her favorite water bottle, slobber all over the straw, maybe wipe some snot on the bottle, and hand it back to her when it's too slimy for even me to deal with. And look so mischevious and adorable the whole time that it is useless for Mama to even try to get a tiny bit annoyed with me. I mean, look at that face!

I wanted so badly to try out my new bike, but dang if my legs aren't quite long enough and hopping down hurts my diaper area. So I'll let big brother borrow it for now.

Cooper's Birthday Bash

Hooray for party day! Too bad I blew off my nap so the whole day is a bit of a blur, but I did have a good time in even in my foggy state - presents, family, friends, balloons and M&Ms could put anyone in a happy mood!

Another perfect Bebe cake creation:

I take care of her by sharing my food too. That's how much I love my Bebe!

Cooper is 2!

I am 2 years old today - can you believe it? It has been such a fun day - I got to have lunch at Mama's office with her and Daddy and my buddies there, and even got a CFA cow with a bunch of balloons. Then Daddy took me home to nap and play. Once Mama & Harrison got home, we set off for Waffle House for dinner and Bruster's for some ice cream. Perfection! Happy Birthday to me!

Here we are, being the very picture of decorum while at a public restaurant. Good thing the place was pretty empty:

Pausing for a moment to let Mama admire my curls:

Dang, Waffle House can make some eggs!

A little love for my Daddy:

Bruster's not only has amazing ice cream, it is also good for people-watching:

Oh, Daddy, you make me so happy!

Mama, even though it is MY birthday, I'm going to share my dinosaur cookie with you:

Please, don't let it all be gone yet!

Bingo Night at CFA

Tonight me and Mama went on a date night to Chick-fil-A since we heard they were having a special Mommy & Son Bingo Night. I had never played Bingo before, but loved it instantly! I wanted to play over and over again, and even though we never won a round we had so much fun laughing and playing together. It was a great way to end a Monday night!

Do you SEE how close I was to winning??

Aunt Dayna

Lucky for us our lovely Aunt Dayna came to visit. We got to spend a lot of time with her while she was here, and we missed her as soon as she walked out the door. Hopefully we'll get to take a plane ride to Seattle to visit her sometime soon! We love you, Aunt Dayna!

Please look at the expression of pure joy at getting an awesome present from Dayna:
