My First Trip to the Dentist

Okay, so did nobody tell my parents that I was supposed to be in a dentist's chair, um, 2 (3?) years ago? Whoops! So today Mama took me to my first dentist visit - and it was much more fun than I was expecting! The waiting room had a huge aquarium and everyone there was so friendly - especially the lady that cleaned my teeth. Lucky for me (and Mama's conscience) my teeth looked "perfect" and the dentist told us I was doing a great job keeping my teeth sparkly! After we were done, they gave me a special coin that I got to go put in the "prize machine" and it gave me a bouncy ball to take home with me. Can we come back tomorrow?

Um, this is awesome - there is a TV right over my face that I can watch cartoons on!

Looking cool in my special glasses - and glued to the TV screen:

So this is what they are going to scrub my teeth with? Cool.

My new friend gave me a sand timer to keep on the sink so I'll know how long to brush my teeth:

What better way to celebrate clean teeth than a cup of ice cream?

And no cup of ice cream has been truly enjoyed unless there is some on my nose!

Day with Mama at the Zoo

Today we played hooky with Mama and headed for the Zoo first thing in the morning. It was perfect - it rained the night before so there was hardly anyone there, and all of the animals were awake and having breakfast. Easily our best trip to the Zoo yet! After that we all went and ate at Savage Pizza where they even had toys for us to play with. What a fun day!

Thing 2 is ready to head out!

We need blue wigs:

I did this little move all on my own:

Checking out the flamingos:

Leaving the slowpokes in the dust while I race to see the elephants:

Can you see the elephant eating breakfast?

Locking eyes with my new buddy:

"Guys guys GUYS! I found the LION! Do you SEE IT?!!?!?"

The most awesome of our animal visits. These gorillas stayed right next to us at the glass the whole time we were in there. We watched them eat and studied their hands which look just like mine!

I wonder what he's thinking about?

This goat looks pretty perturbed, so I tried rubbing his back to cheer him up:

Hey, lighten up already! This is awesome!

This guy has it made - getting a back rub while he eats his lunch:

I decided to become "one" with the goats and put some hay in my hair:

Petting a snoozing pig:

Mama's favorite picture of the day:

Getting out the incredibly awesome toys they had at Savage Pizza:

Now for the good stuff:

One last Hulk fist pump before we go home!

Party at the Waddells!

After my soccer debut, we got in the car and headed down to Newnan to hang out with some friends at the Waddells' house. We had a blast - played football, watched football, turned into complete maniacs in their big fun playroom and ate some yummy food (who knew I liked baked beans? No one, before tonight when I saw Jacob eat them. Then I HAD to have some too). We all had a really great time, and me and Coop made some new friends, too!

Chowing down at the Big Kid table (me, Drew, Anna Claire, Raegan and Jacob):

Drew was pretty excited about taking this picture:

Miss Amy even had Capri Suns for us kids - I had never had one before and it was love at first sip!

Cooper really wanted to be at the table with us big kids:

But he found a comfy seat at the toddler table (Cooper, Hudson, Kathryn and Lydia):

We didn't want to leave and I insisted I wasn't even a tiny bit tired, but as soon as our fannies hit the car seat we were out cold the whole way home:

My First Soccer Game

Today was the big day. My first official soccer game. I have been VERY excited about this for weeks and practicing my skills constantly at home. Well, that was before my cleated feet hit the field. I got so overwhelmed by everything - the folks I didn't know yet, the chaos, and everyone's excitement, that the pressure was just too much and I short-circuited. Maybe once I get used to the idea of all of this I'll venture onto the field. Until then, I'm quite happy on the bench, thankyouverymuch. (a big "thank you" to Papa & Bebe and Raj for coming out to support me! I love you!)

Practicing my kicks with my teammates:

Starting to shut down while warming up:

Yes, it feels much safer over here:

After watching all that soccer, I was ready to play...after the game was over. So I showed off my skills to Raj:

Lazy Sunday Morning

After the big night we had at Zach & Kira's wedding, we decided to have some down time at home on Sunday morning. This included loving on Stirling and burying Mama under everything on my bed on the couch. Sounds like the perfect morning to me!

I love this kitty cat more than just about anything. It is physically impossible for me to be in the same room as her and not tackle her:

I also sing to her:

She is as soft as my stuffed animals, but so much better. She even purrs so much that it rumbles my hands:

After a while, she inevitably decides she's had about enough of me and my lovin and leaves. I get sad when this happens, but she always comes back.

I'll just look at a book in my reading corner now that Stirling's gone. Please pause a moment and admire my curl mullet. It is my signature look, and one I'm quite proud of:

While Cooper has been playing with Stirling and reading, I have been diligently bringing the entire contents of my bed and piling them on top of Mama. I was worried that she was "too cold" and decided to do everything in my power to warm her up. See if you can find her. I think I overdid it and cannot find her anymore:

Boo! She's alive!

Uncle Zach & Aunt Kira's Wedding

Well today my Uncle Zach and Aunt Kira got married! We all went to celebrate with them, and managed to stay (mostly) quiet during the ceremony. Cooper decided to holler a pretty excited greeting up to the front when he saw his family standing up at the altar, but other than that us boys did great! We ate some delicious food at the reception, danced a little, and had races in the hallway outside the reception room. Congratulations Uncle Zach and Aunt Kira!

Me and my beloved Grandmama:

I thought it would be funny to play with Daddy's tie in this picture:

Shout!

We agreed to take a quick break from partying for a family shot:

Enjoying some cake on, where else, the floor. Bebe wanted some, but I was not sharing! I am a Stuckey, after all, and we do not share desserts!

Well, except when it's my baby brother....

The only shot we managed to get of the bride...notice anything special about this picture?

Grandmama, Debbie and Bebe getting down on the dance floor:

Having a very deep convo with Uncle Dan about the chandeliers, which I wanted to swing from:
