Lunch with Grandmama

Today we asked Grandmama to come over and spend the morning with us. We went to Fernbank where we checked out frogs, snakes, bumble bees, a spaceship and even some chickens. We had a great time exploring, but worked up an appetite. And where did I most want to go? Maddio's! We had a great day together, and I am pretty sure she had a great time too :) We love you Grandmama!

Staycation with Papa & Bebe

While Mama & Daddy were in Boston, we decided to have our own adventures right here at home with Papa & Bebe. And boy did we! We had so much fun soaking up our wonderful Grandparents that the 4 days Mama & Daddy were gone flew by - I mean, we missed them and all, but going on a staycation has never been so much fun! Thank you Papa & Bebe - we can't wait to do it again! We love you SO much!

Papa & Bebe got this mailbox flag for us, so I decided to break out my tools and show Papa how it's done. No time to get out of my PJs, we have important work to do!

I am pretty sure Stirling and Molly loved having visitors too - nothing says "happy" like curling up beached-whale-style on the floor getting pets:

If you ever have the good fortune to spend the night at the Stuckey home, you will get the same super-fun, shock-to-the-system wakeup treatment that we're giving Papa here:

Nothing eases you out of a nice, relaxing nap like a hip-bone to the neck, and it is my specialty:

And if you STILL refuse to budge, it's time to bring out the big guns - a fanny to the face:

Holy smokes, Bebe, wouldja look at that!

Peek-a-Boo!

This turtle looks like it could use some lovin:

Looking cute in the bouncy house:

Let me help you with that. And can I have some of your hard-earned tickets?

Is this candy? I think the best way to find out is to put the chain that no less than 4,000 pairs of grimy hands have touched directly into my mouth.

I'm going for it!

I love for my best side to be photographed:

Making a Play-Doh pizza next to a VERY cute girl at Maddio's Pizza:

Papa, do you love it?

Time for some lunchtime entertainment for the folks enjoying their pizza. Where's my puppet?

I took a quick break from playing to run over and kiss Cooper on the cheek. I love him more and more every day:

Now it's time to paint my pizza shirt:

How did I do?

Attack of the Balloons

Tonight Daddy attached all of the balloon animals together to make one gigantic hat for me. And of course, the only way for me to model it properly was in my dinosaur underwear.

It is starting to take over...is it growing?

Let's dance, Cooper! (yes, us boys like to be as naked as possible when we're home)

Look at how huge this thing is! It is bigger than me! And it was on my head!

Family Fun Day at School

Today Mama and Daddy came up to our school for our annual Family Fun Day. There were fire trucks, snow cones, a petting zoo and lots of arts and crafts. It was kind of (really really) hot, but we were having so much fun that we didn't even notice!

Checking out this little horse - we had an instant connection. Minutes later it bit me on the booty, and our friendship was over.

Demonstrating "gentle touches" to Cooper:

"Well, HI! How are you? Want to come out and play?"

I guess he did! But Cooper's already off to something else.

Time for a snow cone break:

I found me a pig! And a big one at that!

"Might I share some of your water? I'm awful hot. Thanks!" (yes, this was gross and Mama scooped me up and sanitized my hands right after taking this picture!)

Cooper is very happy about his first bite of snow cone!

My new teacher, Miss Danielle is toughing me up with a new tattoo:

And, as if this day hasn't been awesome already, we got to ride in a golf cart back to our car!

Cupcakes with Aunt Kelly & Aunt Kira's Birthday Party

Whew, what a day! First Aunt Kelly came over and visited, then we had a birthday party for Aunt Kira at our house that night. The whole day was so much fun. Of course, any time we can spend some one-on-one time with Aunt Kelly is a good thing and special for us boys. And at the party, some of our family learned how to make balloon animals, so we had a very colorful zoo at the end of the night! We are some very lucky boys.

Having a date with Aunt Kelly and Mama, at where else... Los Loros:

While Cooper naps, me and Aunt Kelly get down to the business of making birthday cupcakes for Aunt Kira:

After icing exactly one cupcake, I decide I'm done with that and go straight for the knife lick (I am my Mama's child):

What fun are cupcakes without the mess?

While I enjoy the fruit of my labor, I let the girls finish icing:

Who, me? I was just checking out what the neighbors are up to. Not getting into trouble. Not me.

Wait, you're still there? And who is that dashing young man in the mirror?

Time for balloon animals:

What the heck is Aunt Sara putting on my head? My halo is already there, you just can't see it.

Our grandmas:

Enjoying our family:

Now for Uncle Zach to give it a try. I think he successfully made a pink, very straight, snake.

Let's see if I can teach Grandmama how to do this:

Daddy hooked me up!
