Fun Weekend!

Even though it has been rainy and cold this weekend, I have had a fun time playing inside with Mama, Daddy and my pets. Here are a few of the things that have kept us laughing:

Friday night (when it was still nice out!) we went to Jason's Deli for dinner, but instead of sitting and eating, I thought it was way more fun to push my highchair around outside. Not even Mama trying to bribe me with my new stuffed whale (thank you, Aunt Dayna!) could make me choose eating over pushing!

I also help to take sweet care of my dogs. Even though I wanted to play with Molly & Hudson's bone, I finally agreed to let Molly have it (it didn't taste so good anyways):

I am loving all of the presents that the Easter Bunny brought me last weekend - here is a fun light-up squishy ball that is my current obsession:

I also re-discovered how very fun it is to throw things at, uh...I mean TO, Mama:

Chillin' at Chili's

Today when Mama picked me up from school we went and met our friend Leslie at Chili's for some dinner and lots (lots!) of talking. I used fun games like "Pick Up the Coaster From the Sticky Floor" and "Drive My Truck Up Your Arm" as ice-breakers with my very patient new friends that I made while we were there. No one is a stranger to me - plus I am just convinced that they loved every second of it. Mama and Leslie laughed at me a lot and this just encouraged more silliness - a very great night all in all! I loved hanging out with Leslie so much that I gave her a big smacky kiss when we left!

Happy Easter!!!!!

Ohmygosh, today was like Christmas all over again! I got presents from the Easter Bunny (TWICE) and I got to spend the whole day with my family! Does life get any better than this? It will sure be hard to top the day that I had today between presents, yummy treats, laughing and playing with my family, going on another Easter Egg hunt and dyeing Easter eggs! I love my life!

Here's the great basket of presents the Easter Bunny left for me:

A hug for my new elephant:

WOW! More loot at Bebe & Grandpa's house - the Easter Bunny must really love me!

Time for the big hunt! Come ON Uncle Zach, let's do this!

Notice my overflowing basket (Aunt Kira actually had to take the grass out of it to make room for all of my eggs). I am on a mission:

I'm getting the feeling that these aren't for eating, but Bebe is amused...

All us boys laugh a lot when we are together!

Dyeing Easter eggs (notice my now very un-white shirt):

A close-up of my now tye-dyed onsie. I am overjoyed at my way cool creation:

My family and friends! They are all super fun and wonderful AND they love me - I am a very lucky little man!

Picnic in the Park

When I woke up from my nap today I was quite excited to see that my Grandmama was here! I decided since it was such a perfect day that we should have a picnic in the park, so we went and picked up some Subway and then we were off! I ate lots of turkey and bread (seperately, of course - I don't get why you'd want to eat them together in a "sandwich"). I also went on my favorite ride,(you guessed it) the swings. I was having the best, most fun time and hung onto my bread in case I worked up an appetite from all of the laughing and swinging. I was pretty bummed when I had to get off the swing but there was another baby waiting (I am working on sharing and taking turns, but man it is no fun). But we went straight to the slides, so I cheered up pretty quickly. After that, it was time to head home and meet up with Aunt Debbie and Great-Grandmama. I had a wonderful day with my sweet family! I love you all very much!

Feeding Grandmama crushed ice can keep me entertained for hours:

Eating chips in the sun - this is the life!

Have I mentioned that I love to swing?

In 14 short years, I will be on the road so I thought I should get a little practice (Mama really really REALLY doesn't like thinking about this):

I love listening to Great-Grandmama tell me stories - she always has my undivided attention!

Reading one of my favorite books with Debbie:

My First Easter Egg Hunt!

Today I got a big surprise - Mama and Daddy were waiting to greet me on the playground at school when I was going out for playtime! I wasn't quite sure what was going on, but I knew it was going to be fun if Mama and Daddy were here! After I got over the excitement of seeing my parents, I noticed there were a lot of bright-colored eggs all around. Daddy showed me how to collect them and put them in my basket. I was very pleased with myself every time I found another egg and threw it in my basket with a satisfied "Yeah!". I am now a professional Easter Egg Hunter - watch out world! After all the eggs had been found, I shared my treats with some of my friends - yummy!

Score! Eggs, you can't hide from me for long!

Sharing my loot with my friend Caroline. And as you can see, I'm not too proud to eat goldfish off the ground - I don't believe in wasting treats.

My Day in the Sun

Today I got to spend half the day with my Bebe and half the day with Mama - which makes for one terrific day! The sun was out and it felt perfect so we all played outside for a long time. I discovered an open bag of water guns in the garage and insisted on carrying them everywhere with me, except when I wanted Mama to hold them while I got my softballs and soccer ball (what I need is a couple more hands!). I saw a lot of cars drive by and people walking their dogs, so they all got a big smile, a wave and a little conversation. I love to make friends with every person and animal I meet! Oh and before I forget - Happy Birthday Aunt Kelly!!! I love you!

My Fun-Filled Day With Bebe

While Mama was at a class for work, I got to play hooky and spend all day with Bebe - 2 days in a row! We had so much fun (as usual) and read books, played a lengthy game of peek-a-boo, laughed and gave Stirling lots of hugs and pets. Playing hooky has never been so much fun! Thank you for spending your days with me, Bebe - I treasure this special time with you!

Selecting a book from my library:

My Much-Loved Bebe and Grandpa

I am blessed to have a very special Grandma Bebe and Grandpa! I am their only grand-baby, so I get plenty of love and affection from them and I repay them with wet kisses and lots of cuddling. Last weekend we went and played at a park near their house in Dacula - I had to show them how much I love to swing and slide! I love you both very very much!

Our Date With Aunt Sara

We are trying to be better about seeing my Aunt Sara more, so we set up monthly dates to meet and have dinner at Perimeter Mall. I always have Chick-fil-A nuggets (of course!), fries (I can cram about 3 in my mouth at once - I get so excited about them that I just can't help myself!) and then ice cream. On this date, we discovered a cool pink ice cream truck and Bob the Builder rides in a corner of the mall. I was so overjoyed at this discovery that I would have to take a break from riding to run around and scream and laugh! I never did find the ice cream in the so-called "ice cream truck" though...

Which of these buttons makes the ice cream come? And how come Mama can't figure out how to make these pictures line up straight?

Aunt Sara is looking very in-charge (don't let her fool you - I usually have to supervise her!):

Aunt Sara just can't feed me this ice cream fast enough! Until I experience one of these "brain-freezes", shovel it in as fast as you can, woman!

Will School Always Be This Much Fun?

Every day Mama takes me to school, which I am very happy to say is at her work, so I get easy access to her any time during the day. I love playing with all of my friends and my teachers are wonderful too! We go outside twice a day for playtime where I get to run around with my friends, play with trucks and enjoy the sunshine. Here I am playing in the sandbox:

Fine Dining with Aunt Kelly

I love it when we get to see my Aunt Kelly, which is usually at least once a week. We go out to eat, shopping (Mama says she is making me into a very patient future husband for some lucky girl!) or go on a walk. I give the ladies style tips and they give me lots of kisses and cookies! We usually end up at a Mexican restaurant at some point and I have just discovered how much I love chips with queso dip - but not nearly as much as I love my Kelly!

All About Me!

Hi sweet Friends and Family! I finally convinced Mama to get with the program already and make me famous by starting my very own blog. She was not so super at sending out the monthly Shutterfly pictures, so maybe if I help her remember she can keep this thing a little more updated. You can see pictures from my first year of life at http://babystuckey.shutterfly.com

Maybe I should start this off by telling you a few of my favorite things - there are so many things I love about life that I've discovered in my 20 months in this wonderful world!

1. I love love LOVE stuffed animals, and it is very rare that you will see me without one. My favorite is the one Mama and Daddy brought me from the top of Pike's Peak, so we named him Rocky Bear. Every time (and I mean EVERY time) you give me one of my dearly loved and drooled-upon friends, I will reward you with lots of sweet cooing and singing. Click the "Play" button below to see for yourself:

2. I love eating and throwing food around (I tell Mama & Daddy that I am just giving Stirling, our kitty cat, extra treats!). It is especially hilarious to do this right after they have cleaned. And no, that isn't dirt on your screen - that is crusted food that I have carefully thrown on the walls (it's art, duh! - just call me the next Jackson Pollack). Mama caught me working on a masterpiece below:

3. Like any little person who has discovered the exhilaration that comes with going as fast as possible and feeling the wind in their hair and on their face, I love to move fast - whether that means running, swinging or sliding! Swinging makes me giggle pretty uncontrollably, until Mama breaks out the video camera and tries to capture it, but I gave her a few laughs this time to humor her:

4. Reading is another favorite pasttime - I have developed a process for book-reading time and it goes something like this: I bring you a book, crawl into your lap and then kick my feet in excited anticipation as I wait rather impatiently for you to start reading. My current favorites are The Lorax, Corduroy, There's a Wocket in My Pocket, Little Einsteins, The Bear Snores On, Green Eggs and Ham and anything with animal pictures in it!

5. Bath time just might be my favorite part of the day - I get Mama and Daddy as soaked as possible AND play with bubbles and toys at the same time! Oh, did I mention that I love bubbles? I think I wear them quite well.

Click the "Play" button to see some splashin' action:

6. And last but most certainly not least, I sure do love my Mama and Daddy! And Aunt Marilyn and Uncle George and Katie and Uncle Fahad and Miss Halima and Uncle Dan and Grandmama and Lisa and Bebe and Grandpa and Miss Vicki and Great-Grandmama and Caroline and Aunt Kelly and Miss Michelle and MB and Isabella and Uncle Zach and Aunt Dayna and Jason and Aunt Lucy and Uncle Jeremy and Debbie and Miss Gloria and Aunt Kira and Emma Kate and Aunt Sara and Lisa and Grandpa Tommy...whew! You get the idea...I have lots of love to give! Am I a lucky little boy or what?

Giving my girl Emma Kate some love:
